Re-sign or release?  At our Lions site, Nate Caminata takes a look at the future of starting free safety Terrence Holt who will become an unrestricted free agent in March. "The only thing Terrence Holt did for the Detroit Lions in 2006 was own a share for the team high in interceptions (3), lead the secondary in tackles (77), and become one of the few defensive players on the roster to play in all 16 games," he says. Worth the risk?  After Saints QB Drew Brees dislocated his elbow in Saturday's Pro Bowl, and with 17 players who were originally picked opting not to play, John Holler at our Vikings site wonders if the Pro Bowl is dying off. "It’s unfortunate that the Pro Bowl can’t truly be a matchup of the NFL’s best, but it has to be viewed for what it is – the NFL’s best players going through the motions and hoping nobody gets hurt," he says. Going shopping: At our Dallas site, Roy Philpott expects the Cowboys to be very aggressive in trying to snare some veteran talent in free agency. But he also points out that they have to figure out what they are going to do about their own unrestricted free agents, especially on the offensive line, like center Andre Gurode. "The Cowboys want to keep Gurode after a strong showing in 2006 and have been working to re-sign him before he becomes a free agent on March 2," he says. "Gurode's improved play last season was something the organization has been waiting on for literally years." Pull the trigger:  At our Packers site, Harry Sydney says that Green Bay should make a trade for disgruntled Raiders receiver Randy Moss. "I look back at the Super Bowl and how this team needed a wide receiver and the Packers took a chance on Andre "BAD MOON" Rison, and what happened? He gave Brett Favre that deep threat which made this team better, and so would Randy Moss," he says. Keep or Kick?  At our Seattle site, Doug Farrar takes a look at  unrestricted free agent G/T Floyd Womack and provides his analysis on whether or not the team should re-sign him. "Not the most nimble fellow, he does have great earthmoving ability, which serves him well in Seattle’s system," he says. "He might be a bit lost in a more complicated zone-blocking scheme, but he does man-on-man rather well." Don't you forget about me...  Linebacker and special teams star Wali Rainer didn't get to play in his eighth NFL season this past year because he broke his ankle during training camp. But he was amongst the leading tacklers at LB during his first four years in the league and finished at or near the top of Detroit's special teams in tackles over three seasons. The answer:  Colts veteran safety Bob Sanders and rookie Antoine Bethea both had a pair of interceptions during the team's run for the Lombardi Trophy. Other players grabbing two interceptions were the Chiefs' Ty Law, the Ravens' Ed Reed and the Patriots' Asante Samuel.
