Scout.com Lead NFL Analyst Tom Marino takes a quick look at this year's top senior cornerbacks who will be hoping to hear their names called in April during the NFL Draft.

The senior grouping of professional prospects at the cornerback position is neither as deep nor as talented as most clubs would like entering the postseason, but help is on the way with a number of talented juniors entering the mix.

Mike Jenkins from South Florida is a talented, fast receiver with "wow" type of athletic ability and playing skills.

Leodis McKelvin from Troy State is another under-publicized, talented player who will be high on every draft board this spring.

Terrell Thomas from USC has size and a great deal of playing savvy, but doesn't possess the explosiveness of the two previously mentioned corner prospects.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie first got my attention at last spring's Penn Relays and is a developing player with a great deal of size and athletic ability. He isn't as physical as I had hoped, but has the position skills to develop into a very productive shutdown corner.

Terrence Wheatley is a tough little guy with good feet and man-cover skills, but his lack of height makes him better suited as a sub-package performer at the professional level.

DeJaun Tribble from Boston College, Kent State's Jack Williams, Arizona's Wilrey Fontenot and Austin Tryon from Arizona St are all exciting players who bring things to the table, but like Wheatley are all undersized and will have some matchup problems at the professional level.

Before his injury in 2006, Nebraska's Zackary Bowman looked like a special talent combining both size and speed, but did not play to nearly the level in 2007. His immediate football future will likely be decided by the medical staffs of the respective NFL clubs.
