The St. Louis Rams recently made some coaching changes, including a move that created a vacancy for a new offensive line coach. That position was filled this week.

The St. Louis Rams have named Steve Loney as their offensive line coach. Loney agreed to a two-year deal.

According to a league source, Mike Solari, Art Valero, and Hudson Houck were also being considered for the job. Loney replaces Paul Boudreau who was fired earlier this month.

Loney was last in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals as their offensive line coach in 2006. In 2007, he was the head coach of Drake University.

Loney and Rams' head coach Scott Linehan know each other from their days as assistant coaches with the Minnesota Vikings.
