The Bears were 30th in the NFL running the football this past season and dead last at 3.1 yards per carry, so rebuilding their offensive line is priority No. 1 in the offseason. Assuming Williams can step in right away at left tackle, that means veteran John tait can move back to his original position on the right side and potentially extend his career. They went for the highest rated offensive tackle left on their board and selected the smart and athletic Williams. Because he's a little raw, it's not out of the question that he lines up at RT but he'll eventually be expected to start at LT down the road. That means John Tait could be moved to RT.
