Scout.com Rookie Power Rankings

With the NFL season inching closer, Scout.com's NFL Draft Analyst Chris Steuber selects one 2008 draft choice from all 32 teams and creates his Rookie Power Rankings. The rankings are based on a player’s situation, potential playing time and overall impact on the team.

With minicamp behind us and OTA’s about to get started, I decided to put together my Rookie Power Rankings. The way it works is that I selected one 2008 draft pick from every team in the NFL and ranked them based on their situation, potential playing time and overall impact they will have on the team.

The rookies featured in the power rankings are not all first round draft picks. There are 17 first round selections listed in the rankings, as well as seven second round picks and eight Day Two draft picks. I feel that some players drafted by teams in rounds 2 – 7 will have a greater impact on their team this season.

Again, these rankings are based on the draft picks that I feel will have the greatest impact on their team and be the most productive this season.
