The National Football League in many respects is an on-going reality show that features action, comedy and drama, and obviously sports cinematography at it's best. Scout.com's Chris Steuber offers up his Top 5 storylines that are worthy of a Hollywood production.

It’s hard to imagine there being a down period in the National Football League, but believe it or not, we’re in the midst of it. This is the calm before the storm; a storm that will come to light in about a week – also known as training camp.

But before training camp gets underway, there have been some issues and developments that will come to fruition over the next month or so and will continue throughout the season. Since we are roasting in the dead heat of the summer, what’s hotter than blockbuster movies?

Some of the news items that have made headlines recently have the makings of potential Hollywood flicks. There are plenty soap-opera type controversies in the NFL these days, and I chose five of the most intriguing, must-watch situations around the league.
